JIT Services is an innovative, award winning service provider of supply chain management solutions for the automotive, high tech electronics and many other commercial industries.

Our Indianapolis facility was opened in 2003, initially to exclusively support Delphi Automotive. We have since broadened and diversified our vendor base, supporting over 30 customers, as well as shipping to more than 100 end-user locations. Most recently, in October of 2011, we were proud to announce our relocation into a new and upgraded facility in Indy’s Park 100.

JIT is one of the first companies in the US to provide “Just-In-Time” inventory control assistance and are recognized leaders in this field. Our mission at JIT is to “Provide Quality Services Just-In-Time, Every Time”.

Additionally, our talented team of professionals offer a wide array of value added & fulfillment services to accommodate our customer’s needs. Custom programming, lead forming, taping, reworking, sorting, inspection, sequencing and sub-assembly are just some of the services we provide. Many of these services require state of the art equipment and amenities such as vision systems, clean rooms and specialized parts cleaners, which are all readily available.

 

Meet our management team:

Andy Barnett, Site Manager

After attending college at both Ball State and Indiana University, Andy spent six years at Rohm Electronics in the shipping and receiving department, learning the inventory management business from the ground floor. During the latter two years, he was managing the department, and was excited for the opportunity to broaden his business knowledge and experience.

When JIT Services announced plans to open an Indianapolis facility in the summer of 2003, Andy was one of the first two employees hired. Upon earning the site manager’s position in his first year with JIT, he has served in that capacity during the Indianapolis facilities nearly 10 years of operation. Having surrounded himself with an exceptional team of individuals and employees, Andy is ecstatic for the continued success and ever-expanding growth opportunities for JIT Services.

A lifelong Hoosier, Andy currently resides in Fishers, with his wife and three young children.

 

Ulises Sirit, IT Manager

After earning his degree in Information Systems, and getting certified as an Oracle Financials ERP Administrator, Ulises developed programming skills with Intesa  (SAIC’s Joint Venture) working in Caracas, Venezuela for a Petrochemical company (Pequiven); and, later for the first GSM Network technology company in Venezuela, Digitel.

In 2003, Ulises, his wife and three daughters moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where JIT Services was just opening a facility. Since then, the opportunity to lead some of the most challenging developments for the Corporation have been shaping his skills as today’s IT Manager for JIT Services, which is being balanced with his disciplined martial arts practice since 1986, his passion for racing (in particularly for Formula 1), and his love for new gadgets in the technology world.

 

Bill Barnett, Director of Logistics/New Business

Bill joined the JIT family after several years with General Motors and Delphi Electronics.  He held Global Management positions in Logistics and Warehousing.  He brings a vast working knowledge of customer and supplier requirements, desires, and expectations.  He is always available to our customers to assist in establishing new warehouse operations or improving existing programs.  In addition to warehouse assistance, Bill has an extensive logistics background and is available to consult, and assist in helping our customers and suppliers minimize their total Supply Chain logistics costs.

Jeff Sumner, Quality Manager

Jeff began his career in quality management with Delco Remy after graduating from the University of Northwestern Ohio. After learning extensive quality management knowledge in a manufacturing atmosphere, he returned to college to study operations management at Ball State University.

In December of 2003 Jeff was given the opportunity to join the JIT family at the Indianapolis facility. His initial responsibility was to support customers with improving the quality of their products. Today Jeff is proud to support the ISO 9001certification at several JIT facilities, including the Indianapolis facility. He is committed to establishing efficient processes to ensure JIT is able to exceed customer expectations at a cost-effective rate.
